Dear Uncle Dixer: I figured out I belong to the East group (Li/Fire) and my husband and all 3 of my kids are in the West group (the males are both Qian/Metal and the females are both Dui/Metal). We have a wonderful family dynamic and get along great.
BUT, how do I set up my house for more harmony/balance in life, work & school using Feng Shui principles when their best colors are opposite of mine?
Answer: It just means you all have to find the “in-between” to suit both groups.
In this case, do pay special attention to communication. When it comes to things like color choice, discussions until everyone is happy is best way to handle the differences.
